Season 2011-12
It's early October and the new NHL season is here! Another exciting schedule and 30 teams trying to be the one that skates around the rink in June hoisting the Stanley Cup high.
Gone are the Atlanta Trashers after the team relocated to Canada and morphed into a new re-incarnation of the Winnipeg Jets.
It's unfortunate and wrong to the loyal fans in Atlanta and same time we can acknowledge that Winnipeg never should have lost its NHL team.
Teams packing up and moving just sucks and there are no winners.
